Standard Springs
The standard of antivibration elements which can be used for application with high requirements for vibration and structure-borne noise isolation.
Springs can be used in systems:
- consisting of multiple elements to accommodate higher static loads
- incorporating anti-seismic brackets for the protection of the systems in case of lateral excitation (earthquake, etc.)
- elastomer core that prevents the spring from buckling and over-compression
Springs can be utilized for the mounting of electrical, mechanical and plumbing (MEP) equipment with low frequency moving parts (engine, compressor, fan, etc.).
Depending on the static load that is applied on them and the height of the spring, they can achieve natural frequencies as low as 3 Hz.
Springs with Visco-Mass
For the anti-vibration applications where vibration isolation, damping and stability are of the highest priority, the standard springs systems can be upgraded with the addition of dampers with viscous liquid (Visco-Mass).
Visco-Mass reacts with the speed of the mass-spring system causing a reduction of the amplitude of the oscillation by converting the energy to heat through friction.
Springs with Visco-Mass are ideal for the mounting of Generator Sets, Pumps or piston compressors with high eccentricity, etc., especially when a mass of inertia cannot be installed.
Depending on the static load that is applied on them and the height of the spring, they can achieve natural frequencies as low as 3 Hz.
